Truly Sichuan - Ridgewood

I cannot express enough how truly amazing this restaurant is! I would easily give it 5 stars if I could. This fantastic restaurant specializes in authentic Sichuan Chinese cuisine and may be one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. The food is incredibly flavorful and offers dishes that are not commonly found in other local Chinese restaurants. Additionally, the owner is always present and is very friendly and attentive to customers. If you enjoy bold and spicy flavors, this is the place for you! The menu also offers many vegetarian and vegan options that are clearly marked. My personal favorites are the vegan chongqing hot pepper noodles and the vegan mapo tofu, both of which are truly outstanding.

We absolutely adore the non-spicy Crispy Fish with Crispy Onions dish at this restaurant!

The food was average and quite expensive compared to other restaurants that offer much more value for under $100.

I love this restaurant. We order from here frequently. The only downside is the white rice, surprisingly. The crispy Sichuan fish is an amazing dish that also pairs well with chicken or tofu. The twice-cooked pork is also delicious. And if you request a dish to be spicy, they actually make it spicy!

Confusion over pickup. Food was near cool or warm when home.. 5 minute drive. Not hot. I arrived at expected pick up time.
