Steel Wheel Tavern - Ridgewood

I was here with friends for a girl night. the tavern is a warm and welcoming room and while eating was good and the waitress was friendly, her service was subpar. we just ordered appetizers because they rarely appeared on our table to take the order and when she did it, it was already late. the plates and jars remained on the table until another waiter saw my frustration and he removed it himself and it was not only our table, as the surrounding tables also experienced our frustration. the dj was lively and kept the crowd dancing and I feel like they woke up their service, the place would be much more crowded.

A delicious lunch. we have never missed a good meal here and enjoy the great beer selection and good weine.

I can't even start explaining everything! we waited 15 minutes for our waiter, whom I should have known to go. our waiter was clearly drunk! he complained how all the girls on the back did not come along, information they did not share with a customer, he was shocked when I told him what I apparently wanted to eat what I wanted was not good enough. next we were there for an hour, half he was too busy chitchatting with the girls to even check on us, I watched 4 tables of men eating and going before us, they came after us, they had another server! we will not come back because of the service that was eating anyway, but service was terrible!

Nice cool. sat outside during eating. great choice of beer and attentive service. if I had to post a negatiw, it would be that my burger was in, but overcooked for my lust (medium rare.) the burger of my wife was perfect medium-sized.

Nice atmosphere and excellent food. We sat away from the bar, so there was less noise level.
