Puzo's Family - Ridgewood

I've never set foot in this place, but my brother has become addicted to ordering the Grandma Pie at least once a week for takeout, and now our whole family is hooked. We are mostly lactose intolerant, but we make an exception for pizza since we’re New Yorkers. This pie is truly amazing—perfectly crispy and chewy, with fresh tomatoes that make for an incredible sauce. After reading other reviews, I'm eager to try the original location in Hawthorne. If the pizza tastes so good delivered to our doorstep from a third party, I can only imagine how fantastic it must be when enjoyed on-site!

We recently visited the city and enjoyed a meal that included pizza, salad, garlic bread, and a calzone. The service was quick and friendly, and we found the prices to be very reasonable, which made us feel we got great value for our money. The quality of the food was outstanding, and we will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service! Since I started working in the area, I make it a point to visit this restaurant at least once a week for lunch. The variety of food is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area or anyone searching for a new pizza place.

We are mostly lactose intolerant but will go with whatever if it’s a pizza, as we are NYers. But this pie is hands down amazing. Perfectly crispy and cooked through, fresh tomatoes make amazing sauce… I want to try to original place in Hawthorne now, after reading the other reviews… If the pizza is this good after being delivered to our doorstep via third party, cannot imagine how good it would be to dig in right there!
