Jimmy Hornet - Richmond

This restaurant is a must-visit for jazz enthusiasts! Despite its small size, it exudes a fantastic atmosphere with lounge-style seating and decor that instantly puts you at ease, as if you were in your own living room. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and it is served with beverages right to your table by friendly staff who are eager to assist you. Located in Richmond, away from the busy city center and parking woes (park on a nearby side street and take a short walk), it is the perfect spot for a night of delightful music. We will definitely be returning!

I stumbled upon Jimmy Hornet as a surprise discovery and it was absolutely the best find! From the moment I arrived to the moment I left (and even when I had to come back to retrieve my forgotten phone, embarrassingly), everything about the venue, staff, decor, food, and musicians exuded a joyful passion for the place, live music, and the owner's vision. There was even room for dancing. I will definitely be a regular there now!

Great place. Welcoming. Friendly and attentive service. Interesting vibe and decor. Excellent food and drink, fairly priced. You start to feel like family after you’ve been a few times!
