Hot Italian - Rice Lake

I'm a huge fan of Portillos and cannot find anything close to it outside of WI. Ran into this small shop on a whim and am so glad I did.Got the Italian Beef dipped. Great bread, great quality peppers, great dip. Added garlic bread. Toasted to perfection.I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Owner was personable and nice. Food came out extremely quick. I will be back!

Hot Italian had the best Hot Italian Beef sandwiches around! The staff is always friendly and accommodating! Spread the word as this place is Amazing! ??

If you are looking for a nostalgic memory of Sweet Home Chicago, then you have to try the Italian beefs. They are absolutely amazing as well as super friendly staff. I make it a point to dine in at least once a week. Definitely recommend Hot Italian to everyone that has a taste for great food!!!

If you're from Chicago this is a pretty decent substitute for Portillos Italian beef.

I am now stationed in the Rice Lake B&B Electric branch and always looking for a good place for a quick lunch. I grabbed a meatball sub today and it was terrific. Service was fast, friendly and the food was great. Ill be back!
