LOF brekkie roll (4/5) $15 roll $4 chips- a very large part with 2 eggs and 2 pieces speck that fill the roll very much! tested like a standard battery roll.
It is difficult to pinpoint exactly what makes Lof the best place for coffee in Rhodes. In addition to the obvious highlight of the amazing coffee – rich, smooth, velvety with a perfect hint of bitterness at the end – there is so much more to this café than meets the eye. Located perfectly overlooking the river, it offers a relaxing spot to watch the world go by. The modern design of concrete and steel feels surprisingly cozy. Despite being busy, the service remains fast and efficient, without compromising on quality. Lof exudes a sense of teamwork and professionalism rarely seen in bustling cafes. Whether you're sipping on coffee or indulging in one of their specialties or regular menu items (I highly recommend the hotcakes or steak sandwich), the staff is friendly, energetic, and always eager to assist. The coffee and food are consistently out of this world, and the tempting selection of sweet treats at the counter is always a hit (the chocolate muffin is a must-try!). In short, Lof is a fantastic spot. I quickly found myself becoming a regular, familiar with the owner, having my order memorized upon arrival, and my preferences remembered. If you're in the area, definitely give it a try. If you're feeling adventurous, you won't be disappointed!
The pork burger was definitely too dry. The kimchi slaw added some much-needed flavor, but overall it was a bit disappointing. The presentation was below average, but the coffee and service were good. I would come back for coffee if I'm in the area, but I wouldn't necessarily come back to eat. Thank you for inviting us back! They have shown that they have potential to offer more in the future.
After a long search for parking, my partner and I were delighted to finally have a big brunch at Left of Field. We were seated promptly, and I appreciated the small details provided for outdoor dining in the windy weather. My latte was perfect and my friend's sweet cheeks drink was refreshing. We ordered the char siu pork benedict and the Mediterranean falafel bowl, both of which were delicious. The dishes were beautifully presented and left us feeling happy. Overall, we had a positive experience at the restaurant and left satisfied. Thank you!
