I had a wonderful experience dining at this restaurant that serves delicious authentic Sichuan cuisine. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. Although the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the food made it worth it. The mapo tofu was particularly exceptional. Each dish was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back.

The food at this restaurant is top-notch. The presentation is excellent and you can ask for more or less seasoning to your preference. The service was also great, not rushed at all. We will definitely be returning with my family. Thank you!

I was under the impression that all the best authentic Chinese food in the area was in Rockville, but I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was amazing. The menu includes pictures of every dish they offer, which is perfect for those who may not remember the names of dishes they enjoyed in China.

I was told by a colleague that the owners that took over running the Asian Lakeside Cafe were from Chungdu, Szechuan China. Szechuan cuisine, is a style of Chinese cuisine originating from Sichuan Province. It has bold flavours, particularly the pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of garlic and chili peppers, as well as the unique flavour of Sichuan pepper. Sichuan pepper causes a tingling sensation and to me that is the real test of real Szechuan. I was so excited to find the real deal here and near where I live
