I ordered a deluxe sandwich, but they charged me an extra $2.00 just for it being deluxe. That’s ridiculous! Sandwiches should come with meat, and they shouldn’t skimp on the ingredients.
I retrieved my phone and when I showed the app receipt at the counter, the cashier asked where the order number was. I replied that I wasn’t sure where to find it, and she responded, “Ma'am, you don't have to be rude.” At this point, I realized I was being as polite as possible for someone who had been waiting for 10 minutes to pick up a prepaid lunch. Frustrated, I asked for a refund. No one moved to assist me and looked at me as if I were speaking a different language. I left the shop, called Subway’s customer service number, and was greeted with an automated message indicating that all customer service inquiries were now handled online for faster service. I strongly advise staying away from this location if you value good customer service! Update: I received a standard response from the owner, Alicia Youngberg, which made it clear she hadn’t read or cared about the experience of a paying customer who didn’t receive their food. Instead, I felt insulted, as she essentially branded me a rude thief. I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere, opting for either Pub & Sub or Capriotti’s instead. Thank you for your response, but it doesn’t address my concerns about that visit. At Subway, we often aim to promote new and creative products to keep things fresh and appealing for our loyal customers. While I appreciate the response and the effort to collect feedback, I apologize that my recent experience did not meet expectations. This Subway location offers much better service and quality than the one in Sparks! It's always open on time, the bread is fresh, and the staff provides excellent service. I now exclusively visit this Reno location.
I order my usual meal online and then pick it up. It's always ready with no problems, and the staff is friendly. There are plenty of choices for bread and sandwich fillings. Subway has been a fantastic solution for me when I want to avoid cooking on hot days!
