Plaza Maya Reno

Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We relocated here from New Mexico two years ago, and this is, without a doubt, the best Mexican food we've had in Reno. The outdoor terrace is also fantastic!

I found this restaurant to be very authentic. While the menu is small, the waitress was open to creating custom modifications, so don’t hesitate to ask. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. I believe this place could be a hidden gem. On the day we visited, there was no air conditioning and it was cash only, but I'm not sure if that's their usual practice.

This place is fantastic! I had the mojarra, which is a fried fish, and it was delicious. I paired it with the house margarita, and that was equally good. The rice was excellent, and everything was just great. The decor really captures the essence of hometown Mexico, and the open seating area along with the beautiful fountain adds to the ambiance. I’ll definitely consider coming back before I leave Reno. The waiter was also incredibly friendly!

I am a more regular here now, there is no need for me and my family to eat anywhere else for fine fresh Mexican cuisine there is menu is from the charts and the customer service is amazing the environment really makes them welcome. there are also luna lounge next door some amazing drinks!

Best food I've had in a long time! The owner was amazing the food was delicious! The Mexican coffee was so good! We also loved the chips, the seasoning was the best! Tasty guacamole and posole, the tortilla soup was also amazing! All around great experience! We will be back next time we are in town
