L&l Hawaiian Bbq - Reno

I ordered the BBQ chicken plate for myself and my husband, but they wouldn't allow us to choose our sides or make any substitutions because we don't eat white rice. Unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked and extremely dry, lacking any flavor. It was the worst Hawaiian BBQ I've ever experienced, and I definitely won't be returning. If it were possible to give negative stars, I would. I strongly advise against going here.

If you're craving a plate lunch, this place will satisfy your needs. However, L&L isn't quite what it used to be. While it's still preferable to having no Hawaiian food at all, paying $50 for a meal for two feels a bit excessive. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5.

The food was excellent, especially the lumpia! The spam musubi was tasty as well, although we requested no sauce on some of them. Despite being packaged separately, they still came with sauce. However, they were still enjoyable. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.

This is a fantastic spot for Hawaiian BBQ! The cashier is friendly, and the staff here are really nice. A plate will cost you around $18 after taxes, but there's plenty of food to share for two people. I especially enjoy the BBQ mix plate, and I substituted the BBQ chicken for katsu chicken. Definitely a great place to eat!
