We were in this restaurant several times and always had a wonderful dinner. this time they had a smaller menu. only one person of 6 in our party was completely satisfied with their eating. the risotto was bland and had big lumps. the brussel sprouts in another dish were so undercooked that a knife could not even cut through them. the rice in two of the dishes was boiled so that it was crispy and completely inedible. I don't think we're back.
The first impression was a beautiful atmosphere, stylish, but somewhat casual. our waiter was very nice and informative. the appetizers were small and simple, but expensive to $114-16. our entrees were quite expensive and although tasty, did not live up to their high price tags. cioppino was $42. good that we shared it. the taste was good, but the presentation was missing from great time. broth was a dirty reddish brown, not appealing. seafood was also the same color. steak and elch steaks were good, but again very expensive. at the end we felt that it was nice/okay eating at a high price.
The lobster bisque was to die for. Loved the blackened salmon. Great meal!!
We were treated well and enjoyed a delicious meal. We shared kangaroo appetizers, and I had wild boar for dinner while my family ordered filet and halibut. The restaurant was busy on a Sunday night so the wait was a bit longer than we would have preferred- both the noise and the wait for drinks, salads, etc, but our server was lovely.
