Casale's Halfway Club - Reno

This place truly misses the mark on its themes! The meatballs just didn't cut it, and there’s no white sauce to be found. For generations, people have been curious about this restaurant. We had lasagna and ravioli, accompanied by garlic bread. Chris and Natalia were excellent servers, taking great care of us. Although it’s a cozy spot, the bar is ideal for a quick stop. Keep an eye out for 6/4/24. Our bill was very reasonable at just $78 for two people, and they also serve fantastic drinks.

The menu focuses on a few key dishes, with spaghetti, ravioli, lasagna, and pizza being standout choices. Notably, there are no white sauce options. I found the red sauce on the spaghetti to be flavorful and not overly sweet. The pizza we ordered was topped generously and featured a nicely crisp crust. We chose to sit at the bar, where we enjoyed watching the friendly and sometimes entertaining interactions between the staff and patrons. One of the servers had a comedic flair in their interactions, and the bartender was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overall, the service was outstanding.

The food was exquisite! As indicated on the sign, this is the oldest family-owned restaurant in Nevada. That's impressive on its own, but it’s complemented by fantastic dishes! The spaghetti came with a generous amount of sauce, the ravioli was substantial, and the garlic cheese bread was wonderful.

I had to look over here for a job in my photography class and the personal was incredibly friendly. they went beyond and beyond to help me and even let me make photos in the kitchen, and it smelled wonderful there. the entire restaurant was so cozy and warm and welcoming. there was so much to see, but not in overwhelming wise. absolutely fantastic, it cannot recommend enough.

We love this place. So much history. The best lasagna. Kellums are divine. I also inhale their pizza with garlic. You know it’s a great restaurant when the garlicky marinara smell from the parking lot pulls you right in. Don’t try to walk in during dinner hours, make a reservation, as the seating is limited.
