The Federal Bistro Fritter Shop

The staff was very attentive. The food was good and offered something different from other restaurants in the city. The only downside was that the seasoning on the scallops, which included Old Bay, wasn't to my liking.

All at Federal Fritter is amazing, which is why we keep coming back for more! Be sure to save room for dessert!

I want to share my experience about dining at this restaurant, but unfortunately, we didn't get to eat or drink anything! Earlier this week, I made a reservation for a party of four. We arrived on time and were seated right away. The server brought us water promptly, but after that, we had no further contact for the next 25 minutes. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but this place has only a few tables, and no one even acknowledged us after we sat down. Eventually, we decided to leave and eat at another restaurant in Rehoboth.

One of our very favorites! It was great to see Ellen again. Sat at the bar and had a great time!

A fan of the sister restaurant Equinox in DC, we always visit Federal Fritter when in Rehoboth. The meal did not disappoint, food was different and great. Todd Grey was in the kitchen and it was worth the wait! Will be back.
