I usually peel some of the meat off when I get a sandwich piled with meat, but the turkey was so moist and delicious, I ate the whole thing! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
We noticed this place last year and decided to give it a try while vacationing in Rehoboth Beach this summer. They had me at the complimentary pickles on the table!!! They were excellent and my husband estimates that I ate the equivalent of a jar of pickles on that first trip. I had a corned beef and cheese on rye (forgot to tell them not to toast it, but I take the blame for that ; it was amazingly light and savory. I topped it off with the house mustard—and more pickles. We stopped there again for breakfast on our way out of town. Again, we got the complimentary pickles. The whitefish salad platter was amazing! I just wish there were more kalamata olives on the plate. (I don’t care for capers, but again, my issue. I was able to totally avoid them on the plate. My husband had an omelette; my daughter had pancakes. The “short stack” was ginormous! The two pancakes barely fit on the plate, they were so big! My son had a plain bagel because that is all he ever eats. We all loved this place! On my way out, I was able to talk to the owner. He asked me how everything was and I nearly hugged the man! I asked if he could open a location near me. Just in case you’re interested sir, the Media/Haverford/Radnor areas in Pennsylvania would LOVE your authentic Jewish Deli. I am counting down to vacation next year so that we can visit again!!
I just can't say enough about the quality and customer service at Rosenfeld's Jewish Deli ... I had the grilled classic Reuben with the turkey pastrami ... my husband had the Beef Brisket, melted Swiss, Sweet Onion Jam, Slaw and Horseradish Cream ... served with deli pickles and chips. Finger-lickin' good. Being President's weekend, the deli was packed, but the staff did a great job of accommodating everyone in a timely fashion!
To start the place looks amazing it is clean and the cartoon drawing/ paintings on the wall look so cool. My family and I come here every time we come down. You start with a little bowl of pickles which I think definitely makes the experience better. The food is amazing for both breakfast and lunch, but I do have to say that the portions are huge. All in all the place is great to eat at with your family and friends.
The staff was very pleasant, and the dining room was bright and cheery. My wife ordered brisket n kraut on bread while i had pastrami, corned beef, swiss, slaw and russian dressing on marble rye. Delicious and huge, we each took half home. We could not leave w/out getting one of the 16oz eclairs that greeted us from the dessert case when we entered. Not disappointed, we will be back, as there were many items on that menu i am determined to try. Not cheap by any means, but worth it.
