Dogfish Head Chesapeake Maine

Tried the vegan “crab cakes”’. Not really crab like but they are very tasty. Tonight is the crab cake sandwich, can’t be beat !

The food was delicious, and the interior was quite appealing. You can't go wrong with a $15 lobster weighing 1.5 pounds! It was as sweet and tender as it gets. The crab dip was also outstanding. We visited during happy hour and were pleasantly surprised by how little we spent for everything we enjoyed. We'll definitely be returning many times!

We checked the reviews and looked at the menu prices on Google before our visit, and were disappointed to find that there was no happy hour and no $15 lobster as advertised. The lobster was priced at $30 on June 23, 2022. So, be aware that the prices listed on this site are outdated! We tried the oysters on the half shell, crab dip, lobster mac and cheese, and there was a burger option for those who prefer non-seafood dishes. The live music starting at 4 PM was a wonderful touch that enhanced our experience.

My wife and I dined there on a Friday evening. I ordered the Crab Cakes, which were delicious, while my wife enjoyed the Lobster Roll, also delightful. Both dishes were very tasty, and the service was excellent. We had eaten at Salt Air the night before, and I can confidently say that Chesapeake Maine's Crab Cakes were far superior and larger too. We look forward to visiting Chesapeake Maine again in the future. Here's a photo of the crab cakes; I apologize for starting to eat them before taking the picture!

This is a fantastic place in Rehoboth for upscale seafood. If you're a fan of coconut, I highly recommend their coconut risotto and scallops – they are simply amazing. The drinks are great too!
