Uncertain of what to expect, we ventured pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. The restaurant boasts a relaxed yet elegant ambiance, perfect for a special occasion or a casual dinner. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering recommendations and catering to our every need with genuine warmth. The menu showcased a delightful selection of dishes featuring traditional Emilian cuisine with a modern twist. For our main course, my partner decided on the tortellini, a classic Emilian dish. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the filling was rich and savory. Each bite was an explosion of flavor, showcasing the quality of the ingredients and the expertise of the chef. I opted for the octopus as a second plate, which he described as equally delicious and satisfying. The octopus was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, and the accompanying pumpkin sauce added a touch of acidity that balanced the richness. We were both pleasantly surprised by the size of the portions, which were ample without being overwhelming. This allowed us to savor each course without feeling overly full. Throughout the meal, the service remained impeccable. The staff was attentive without intrusive, ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable and comfortable. Overall, Ristorante A Palazzo exceeded our expectations in every way. The delicious food, the impeccable service, and the charming atmosphere made for a truly memorable dining experience. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of authentic Emilian cuisine with a modern twist.
High quality food, perfect service we felt like we were at home. Excellent value for money recommended. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Tagliere Di Salumi, Antipasti
Excellent service, soundproofed room (despite the fact that there were numerous families with children having an aperitif in the adjacent room, there was no confusion), high quality menu, excellent aperitif and dessert tasting, reasonable prices. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Very nice, refined place, excellent for a romantic dinner. We had dinner in the internal courtyard and the location is truly suggestive. The super professional service, very attentive and helpful staff. The food was good although reading the reviews I think I was expecting something more. Let me explain better, the restaurant is not for all budgets, in fact the prices are medium-high (my tasting menu plus a bottle of wine cost 150 euros for two) and no dish has remained in my mind enough to sing its praises. Tagliatelle with ragù, even if the ragù is made of three meats (which our grandmothers also made), are still tagliatelle with ragù. the appetizer with culatello, pan briosc and a few flakes of butter, the raw material is exceptional but it doesn't require much study. Overall I expected more although I repeat everything was good. The only negative note during the evening was a discussion in the kitchen and since the environment is practically visible we heard the verbal exchange, and for a refined restaurant this is not acceptable.
Beautiful location Great food Helpful and qualified staff I'll be back Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
