My friend and I visited today. My first time and definitely not my last. A wonderful menu of traditional cafe fare made with Australian bush ingredients. I had the scones with wild lime marmalade... delicious. My friend had the indigicake and loved it. Great coffees...too, made to order. The whole centre is a great place to explore the environment, walk in the bush, learn about how to keep our animals healthy and... have another coffee!! Need to get in quick for another visit before the renovation.
A friend recommended this little local of hers we chose to dine for lunch. Set amongst the gorgeous gum trees and local habitat, surrounded by a bushy outlook it was a very pleasant experience. Lovely little menu we chose the crispy skin chicken with...salad very tasty and just the right portion size. Drinks-My friend had a lovely fresh granita, I chose the green tea with myrtle very delicate and delightful. On the way out we visited the small nursery out the back and grabbed a plant each. Definitely worth a visit!
Restaurant in Bush setting with lake, gully full of native plants. Food was lovely, sides with a bush salad. Relaxed atmosphere.
Lunch today was excellent with the bush flavours of lemon myrtle, wattleseed and bush fruits. Unfortunately it was raining so we didn’t get a chance to walk through the botanic gardens. Definitely go back again but next time we will book as it is very...popular.
