Scout's Honour - Redfern

Fresh produce - new menu each week. My regular place for lunch takeaway. Super awesome chicken or lamb salads rock!!!

Cash only, opens early. Yummy food but be prepared to queue up. Best for take away food. Coffee ok but there is better around.

I have so many options for places to buy coffee, great breads and breakfast foods between Redfern and the City of Sydney but Scout's Honour muffins just out of the oven (around 7.20 onwards) are to die for - wish they were open on Sundays though and a little earlier in Saturdays .....

I was hoping for a relaxed bite with a friend in this small Redfern cafe. But it was noisy, and waitering staff and owner had attitude. Food was ok. A unique location.But they need to take better care of customers. Better cafes in Redfern street.

Great sandwiches and salads that are deserving of at least a 4 but the lack of value means I can only give it a 3. Some of the meals are a bit expensive for the small portions but the real killer is the avocado. At $3.50 for avocado I'd expect to get a decent amount but I got a 6th of one at most!
