We went there recently and have to say, that it was my second time eating here and it really was good. Its a quirky little tapas restaurant that you need to find, but when you do, its great. Its good service and pleasant food. The crispy skin salmon and the scallops are awesome and the restaurant has an amazing menu and does good deserts and coffee. Its a quiet little restaurant and great for couples. Some of the tapas dishes were also good as we tried a few as well from what was a much larger than expected menu. They have indoor and outdoor dining and we opted for indoor as it was a little cool outside. Parking is easy as well. My suggestion is to book as they can get busy.
We went there for dinner, the place is small and quite dark. Service was ok, but the food was extremely greasy, you can tell most of the dish we had were re-heated (which is ok) with extra oil (less ok...). I'm not familiar enough with Patagonian cuisine, but this restaurant's menu mixes all kind of food. After 3 different starters which were all about disappointment, we finally got to the mains which were surprisingly better.Overall, I don't recommend the place. Maybe breakfast is better?
Patagonian Toothfish catered for my daughters baby shower in Glebe yesterday, on a Sunday. The food was really excellent, beautiful fresh sandwiches and' to die for' cupcakes, mini quiches and sausages rolls etc. They delivered the food on time, and it was very well presented.
The restaurant does not stand out as it is set inside a terrace house, and parking may be a bit of challenge. Unfortunately our tummy's only had room for the paella, which was surprisingly good. Service was adequate.
