Royal Indian Cuisine - Redding

I was born and raised in Redding, CA, and this is, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant. It's family-owned, affordable, and absolutely delicious. If you have celiac disease or any form of gluten intolerance, this is the perfect spot for you. Most of their dishes are naturally gluten-free, and they also offer gluten-free bread options.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and the atmosphere is just right. The staff is both friendly and attentive. This was my first visit, but I can confidently say I will be a returning customer. I ordered the Fit for a Royal King lunch special, and it was absolutely delicious—there was nothing that I would change about it!

I ordered the Fit for Royal King meal along with a mango lassi. The portions were generous, the food was fantastic, and the naan was among the best I’ve ever tasted. It was absolutely delicious! Additionally, the woman who served me and handled my payment (I believe she was the owner) was delightful. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

I visited this restaurant on a Friday for lunch and was warmly greeted by Meena, the owner. She was incredibly kind, and we had a wonderful conversation. The ambiance was peaceful, with Punjabi music playing in the background, which happens to be one of my favorites. I ordered Butter Naan and Butter Chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the rich curry and the hot naans. The service was prompt, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the curry came with rice, leaving me with plenty of leftovers for dinner. I highly recommend this place for a satisfying meal! Great job, everyone! Keep up the good work!

We decided to stop by this restaurant on a spur of the moment after finding another spot closed, and we’re so glad we did! The food here is absolutely incredible. I never expected Redding to offer such high-quality Indian cuisine. The menu features dishes from the northern region, highlighting rich spices and flavorful sauces. The service is exceptionally friendly, and our meals were served quickly. The ambiance is both authentic and tidy. Whether you love Indian food or are just curious to try it, I can't recommend this place highly enough. It has definitely become our go-to restaurant!
