Deja Vu - Redding

I've visited this restaurant numerous times, and they consistently fail to get my order right. While the building has a rich history as one of Redding's historic landmarks, and the food is decent, the poor service and frequent mix-ups with orders indicate serious management issues. Many patrons have complained about the service, yet nothing seems to change. Although the atmosphere is pleasant, the service really detracts from the overall experience. I recommend saving your money and choosing another place, but do stop by to admire the architecture and soak in some history. I want to be fair—I acknowledge the building's historical significance and the appealing food, but I must be honest about the dreadful service. Unfortunately, my feedback has been met with slanderous complaints that I was aggressive. Yes, I left after being asked to do so. My young son used to enjoy the ambiance, but even he no longer wants to return. This is a clear example of poor management, especially regarding customer conflict resolution.

Breakfast dining experience on September 26, 2022, was exceptional! Everything impressed me, from the lovely decor to our wonderful server and the quality of the coffee and food. My boyfriend received a birthday cinnamon bun that was topped with the perfect cream cheese frosting—not too sweet and delightfully cheesy! I enjoyed a 20oz Mount Whitney coffee that was simply superb. I also ordered the Deja scramble, which came in fantastic portion sizes, served hot, beautifully presented, and incredibly delicious. My boyfriend opted for the two-egg combo with bacon, and the bacon was thick and cooked to perfection! Our server, Jamie O., was an absolute sweetheart who made us feel right at home, checked in on us just the right amount, and presented our check without making us feel rushed. Overall, it was an outstanding breakfast experience, and I can't wait to dine here again! Kudos to the management team for running such a fantastic restaurant! Thank you all!

While the wait can be lengthy at times, the food is absolutely worth it! Every time we've visited, whether for breakfast or lunch, the food has been exceptional. The waitstaff is consistently wonderful, but this time we were fortunate enough to have Heather as our waitress. She is the best waitress we've encountered in all our years of dining out. Heather truly went the extra mile to make our visit feel like more than just a meal; it was a memorable dining experience! If we could give more than 5 stars, we definitely would!

Truly 5 star food here. Best restaurant in town. The French Dip and the Condor Special are amazing. My all time favorite is the soups. Broccoli cream soup on Monday's is the best soup I've ever had. The craft lattes and coffee are amazing too, even for someone who doesn't drink coffee. I've literally never had a meal here that was anything less than spectacular.

Passing through Redding and found this cute little spot. The service was friendly, decor was beautiful, and the food was amazing. I ordered a basic two egg breakfast with pancakes, as well as the tiger chai. My friend ordered a club sandwich with a side salad. All of it was delicious. Stop by here if you are looking for a good spot to eat in Redding!
