Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Red Deer

I absolutely loved my experience here! It was my first time trying it, and wow! The place was clean, the service was fast, and the food was fresh and delicious! It's hands down the best chicken I've had from any fast-food place. I would definitely recommend getting Popeyes for a night out with friends—100%!

The staff at this location is fantastic, but there’s a major issue with the Popeyes app. I wanted to take advantage of a promotion that was only available through the app, but unfortunately, it didn’t work when I tried to use it in-store. The manager, Aliciz, spent 15 to 20 minutes trying to resolve the issue on my phone, but we were unable to make it work. It was a significant potential savings, which made the time invested even more frustrating. Popeyes really needs to fix this problem; we missed out on a great deal.

During my first visit, I found the menu to be extensive, and it was definitely worth the wait. The chicken and shrimp were absolutely delicious and not greasy, unlike some well-known restaurants. The cookies and dips were fantastic as well, just like the service.

Today we were in Red deer gasoline alley location and the service we received was the worst service u have ever seen in my life. There were 2 Phillipine girls one named Sajin and other one was not wearing a name tag she was the worst cashier I have ever seen. She told us that we don't take cash after 8:45 and close doors by 9:20 even though closing time for popeyes was 10. After placing an order they turn on the music on full volume just to irritate us. They refuse to take customers by 9:15 and all the staff was rude we are not going to go there again and will tell this to everyone not to go there anymore.

My family and I went twice to Popeyes South Red Deer in a week and were very happy both times. It seems to be a busy place, but you can online order to save time. The young man at the till was very friendly and helpful. We asked for extra cups and napkins and they we generous and cheerful. The chicken was very hot and fresh no stuff sitting under the heatlamp! Very, very good! If you dont want spicy chicken, they do have a mild version as well. Bisquets, rice and beans and coleslaw were all very good as well. The price of chicken has risen, so dont expect a cheap meal if you have a hungry family, but it is in the same range as other chicken places, including KFC.
