Little Ice Cream Soda Shoppe - Red Deer

The Little Ice Cream Shoppe is by far the best ice cream in RD. I usually go with 2 scoops in a bowl but decided to try the hot fudge split today. It was amazing. I like that you get to choose what 3 scoops of ice cream you want. I went with chocolate, cookie dough and moose tracks. A great combo. The kids love the huge selection of flavours. And they make everything in house. If you want frozen cream go to this place.

Little ice cream shop is just about everyone's favorite old-fashioned hard ice cream shop. They have a vast assortment but also specialize in banana splits and outrageous sundaes.<br/  They also serve old-time soda fountain drinks like brown cow and strawberry blondies. Long long line up in hot weather but totally worth the wait.

Great ice cream and the staff is fantastic. I've watched customers stand there and stare at the girls if they are talking, acting annoyed by them, but the moment the girls asked if they're ready they say no. Most nights in the summer this place is lined up to the door, the staff want to get everyone through as quickly as possible and they often deal with rude customers so if I've ever been served by one who wasn't a ray of sunshine I don't blame them.<br/ <br/ Remember to respect those who are serving you!

Great ice cream, built to liking. Great location for me, makes a nice stop for an evening bike ride. We take our kids here for a treat/reward.
