Mcdonald's - Red Deer County

Bathroom was filthy. The service was friendly but worst bagel and apple fritter we have ever had. Also ordered a large peppermint tea and it was very weak- if a large size is ordered it should maybe get 2 teabags. We love McDonald's so that is why I reviewed this visit.

Not one employee said a word to me in store. They wouldn't come to the counter to take my order. Didn't say anything when they delivered my order to the counter. How hard can it be to make an ice cream cone? Very apparently. Luckily they couldn't mess up my daughter's McFlurry.

This was my first visit, and it was quite busy with takeout orders. There is a drive-thru option, as well as dine-in seating available. The place appeared to be clean, and there are several other businesses nearby.

I walked in and then immediately walked out. For some reason, there were over ten orders waiting to be filled, so I decided not to wait as it seemed like many others were already waiting. The nice feature of the large screen displaying who is being served is that it also shows the queue of orders waiting to be fulfilled. I noticed a significant backlog and a lot of people lingering around, so I opted to leave and went to the Shell station instead.

We missed out on dining there. We arrived at 10:15 PM, only to find that the restaurant was closed for in-person dining. The drive-thru was still open, but unfortunately, all we could see through the illuminated windows were the delicious options we couldn’t experience. There were five other cars that pulled in at the same time as us, all within a couple of minutes. Oh well, we had to continue on to our next destination. Hopefully, we’ll have better luck next time.
