I'm so glad to see Thier coming back to what they were. So nice and delicious food.
Good food, great service, beautiful beer! We found this jewel on the first of 2 nights in Red Bluff on a road trip we enjoyed it so much we enjoyed back in the second night! The Onibi beer is really cool and all 4 flavors we tried were delicious. Service was pleasant and attentive and food came out quickly. The whole place was clean, bright and beautifully decorated. We had the salmon roll, Robb Roll (I didn't know I needed bacon curry in my life, but now it's a must! Tina roll, shrimp tempoura roll, spicy tuna roll, Jimmy Roll, gyoza and harumaki. From the Onibi brothers we tried California rice camps, peach pale ale, Belgian season and yuzu white ale (my favorites! all were so good and served in a beautiful frost stone. It's not cheap, but the whole experience is great, so I'm okay with the prices.
Good service. And good food... mostly. The broth on the rams was decent, but the rams themselves made me almost regret buying it; it was Top Ramen like. The rainbow sushi was totally worth it and amazing with the Gyoza. The bright ale was 7 months old, just above the cuddly, but still good/decent tasting.
A surprising gem in (real) NorCal! Yes, authentic Japanese food in Red Bluff coming from a happa who lives in SFBA. We try to stop here every time we go up to the family farm. Good sized portions, menu will satisfy everyone in the family, and friendly staff. If you have a craving for Japanese, you will not be disappointed!
