Lovely food, had half rotisserie chicken, veg, and mash followed by crumble and custard. Service was great, efficient, and friendly. A few musicians were setting up to play a few tunes.. they are there every Wednesday.

Always a lovely family dinner on a Sunday food is magic staff amazing well worth the stop. My kids love it.have visited over 100 times for events for food for breakfast for Sunday roasts. Highly recommended. Food is excellent staff very friendly bar staff very friendly. Some lovely memorabilia around the historic pub. Great off-licence on the premises. Cosy fire as well in the snug. Lots of sporting clubs stop here. Can be busy on match weekends lots of free parking.

Went here for New Years Eve and the food was lovely and it came very fast

It's my local and I love it. I've been coming here for 46 years and have lovely memories of happy birthdays, Christmas, New Years, Anniversaries and great musical nights with neighbours, friends and family. We've also said our goodbyes to loved ones here, remembering happier times spent in this place together. Let's hope this ship sails on for generations to come. Never change.
