Nice and friendly local coffee shop in Randwick conveniently close to the Montefiore Home in Randwick. Disabled access and easy parking.
We got off the bus in a pelting hailstorm and ran into the Kake Kafe for shelter! The kind waitress gave us a blanket turned off the ceiling fan and helped us dry off. A hot coffee really hit the spot. What marvellous customer service and kindness. I'll be back.
This is a well run excellent cafe hidden a few blocks away down Clovelly Road just off Centennial Park. If you walk or cycle in the Park make the detour as it is a great surprise to enjoy Good barrista made coffee excellent pastries or light healthy meals on lovely sidewalk tables where you can watch the world go by. I love a mango smoothie after a few laps of the Park! Much nicer than the one on the Park.
The barista makes a really good piccolo latte only $2.70. Nice spot to sit and read the papers. NJ k
