Sushi O Bistro Sushi - Raleigh

Was in the mood for some sushi, so decided to check this spot out. It was very hot outside and so we needed to be inside, this place had both seating available luckily. The sushi is interesting as they have random ingredients in them like mango,pineapples, asparagus, and the list goes on. It was decent sushi, but not the best in Raleigh. I give it a 3 because of howrandom it was and the prices are a little much.

The meal was seriously overpriced and the taste was extremely mediocre. The prices vary depending on whether it's lunch or dinner. I paid $25 for a plate of bland noodles with a strange tomato sauce that was supposed to be Pad Thai, plus an additional $3 for about five small shrimp. I was very dissatisfied with the experience.

The restaurant had limited gluten-free options, and our waitress seemed uncertain about gluten-free choices. However, the drinks were flavorful, and the sushi was enjoyable. They had a special on sushi rolls, which was a nice bonus. I believe the restaurant could benefit from providing more training to the staff regarding gluten-free dietary needs and offering a concise gluten-free menu. The atmosphere was pleasant for the area.

Oh wow! It pains me to give just one star to any place, but here we are. It was Thursday at 7:00 PM, and our party of three was seated only to be completely overlooked. The servers walked by us multiple times without making any eye contact. After waiting for 15 minutes, we decided to get up and leave, and not a single person acknowledged us. That's my two cents. Stopped in for lunch 08SEP22. Had the Crab Rangoon Roll and Rice Noodle stir fry with tofu. Friendly staff, good service. Quite good, though not my cup of tea.
