Mulino Italian Kitchen & Bar - Raleigh

An overall decent experience. Lovely aesthetic, warm and enthusiastic server and a brilliant menu of primarily Italian favorites and a couple of American options. Given the price point and food quality I was surprised with the sloppy service. We spent over$100/head and yet the expeditor ?auctioned? off our meals, interrupting our experience. Nothing says class like being barked at?SALMON?! Additionally the risotto was like soup and very bland. I?d give it another try sometime as they have a lot going forthem.

When walking through the gates at the main entrance, you are greeted by a beautiful courtyard seating area complete with fountain creating a romantic atmosphere under strings of Market lights; however, the restaurant interior is chic and modern withsubtle electronic music filtering through the air. It is this juxtaposition that makes Mulino an eclectic dining experience. Andno dining experience is complete without food and it was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were ample and strong. The pastawas homemade. The service was beyond reproach. Mulino is not just a great restaurant but it combines old world charm with modernchic to create a dining experience.

Love this place! food tasted amazing, ambience is nice too. we sent the bread basket back because it was too dry for our tasting, the oil was plain olive oil. calamari was good, came with some fried pickles and fried shrimp. lamb shank with saffronrisotto was the star of our meal, spectacular! picci was also delicious, will definitely be back! wish they had more porklessoptions

First time trying Mulinos. We went for a friends birthday, party of 6. Made a reservation a couple nights in advance and had our table ready for us outside We ordered a bunch of items so we could try everything. Enough portion size to serve it as familystyle. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. The food came out really quick considering how much we ordered. Some favoredcertain dishes more, but overall everyone seemed to really like everything we ordered. We went heavy on the pasta since therewere so many to choose from. I think my favorite was the Octopus appetizer

Mulino Italian kitchen and bar is hands down the place for a nice solo date or just you and your bae. Fortunately I had my birthday dinner here and it was an amazing experience. Brandon was my waitress and he checked on me every chance he got. Whichwas much appreciated because it was a solo dinner. He made sure to offer me the best tasting food on the menu as well as drinks.If I could ask for him again I would every time. The staff made sure I got a table even though I was a little late and it wasinside since I had gotten a little cold. Thank you Michelle, Brandon, outside bartender, hostess and another waitress for makingmy night lovely. I can?t wait to bring my friend here. Thank you happy birthday to me 24!
