Midtown Grille - Raleigh

I visited Midtown Grille for the first time for a birthday lunch. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the portions were generous—enough to serve as dinner!

Three of us had lunch at the outdoor seating on a hot day. Service was prompt and helpful, the shade was pleasant, and the food was good.

Just okay. Food and drinks were overpriced and honestly not that great. Gratuity was included for any party over 4 which seems odd. Probably will not go back.

Everything was fantastic! The only issue was that the waitress was a bit delayed with our last order. However, we were informed that the restaurant was closing at 9:18 PM.

The omelet and BLT were just okay. There was a large party seated nearby when we arrived, and we requested not to be seated close to them. Instead, we ended up next to a room divider by the entrance, which resulted in our table shaking every time a server went outside to the front terrace. An older male server (not ours) was practically shouting while training a new employee on the computer behind us, making it impossible for us to have a conversation when he was nearby. The food was acceptable but nothing special. Overall, we will not be returning.
