The staff is super nice and helpful, and the gluten-free selection is AMAZING. They have a whole wall of gluten-free materials; it seems that they have a better selection of these products than any other storage in the area. This place is also good for its pharmacy type section. The staff can actually recommend you a good product, taking into account all your health and price requirements, unlike some other shops I was. The only reason I'm not here regularly is because they just don't offer enough products for my taste. You have a nice selection of organic products, but I am the kind of person who likes to have six or seven wild different dishes per week.
Small local store with some vegan items. I used to go here for harder to find items, but vegan items are so mainstream now that I can find most of the same things at stores more conveniently located. It’s a bit on the pricey side but I could see people with expendable income shopping here to support a local business instead of a chain.
They have vegan food but over-priced and they also sell meat … I would not recommend if you’re vegan. Updated from previous review on 2021-07-11
The store is in a busy location next to a restaurant, but that doesn 't distract you from the comfortable atmosphere. The location of the store doesn 't seem all that 'busy. ' The store is nicely set-up--with colorful walls which fits the relaxed vibe. The staff are all very knowledgeable, kind, and down-to-earth. All of their fruits and vegetables are NON-GMO, organic, and locally grown. They have an abundance in gluten-free and vegan products. There 's a juice bar inside the store where they serve fresh juice(s) and smoothies. I 've tried a strawberry coconut smoothie there before (vegan of course) with a coconut milk base and it was delicious. They use fresh fruits and veggies in their juices/ smoothies. They also sell incense, chakra candles, sage, candle holders, etc. I love their variety of cruelty-free, vegan makeup products as well as shampoo, conditioner, lotions, etc. Their aisles are nicely set up and fit the arrangement of the store accordingly. It feels very 'home-y ' in this store. They also sell water filters to take the flouride, chemicals, etc. out of your water. The two owners seem to be very knowledgeable as they 've had years of experience in various fields such as egyptology, spirituality, holistic healing, so on and so forth. They also do energy healing sessions/ reiki if you look on their website, but I 've never gotten a session here before. Harmony Farms also sells books and a few documentaries, one even being Forks Over Knives, advocating plant-based living/ a plant-based lifestyle. Most of their books in their store are on spirituality, new age philosophy, healthy lifestyle/ diet, etc. The store is a bit on the expensive side, but that 's understandable I guess since it 's owned by two people and most of their products are sourced from fair-trade/ organic/ non-gmo independent companies who are in general more on the pricey side since there 's (sadly) not as much of a demand for companies who actually do care--if there was more demand, the 'supply ' would obviously be cheaper. I also don 't like how they claim to have local 'humane ' meats, eggs, and other animal products as there 's no such thing as 'humane ' murder. I think the pros definitely outweigh the cons, and you should try shopping here if you can, or at least check this store out. They have a great variety of cruelty-free/ vegan products, nice atmosphere/ vibes, lovely staff members, non-gmo produce, and overall promote a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
