Farina Neighborhood Italian - Raleigh

I thoroughly enjoyed my pasta primavera, and everyone else at the table had no complaints either. The red wine we selected was excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant, though it can be a bit noisy.

I really liked the dining room! Very nice! The food was good, with a few exceptions. All 5 of us loved the Carbonara hands down. The Chicken Marsala was ok, though not as flavorful as I've had elsewhere. The Lemon Basil chicken was amazing, though the asparagus was too tough. I was impressed with the wine selection. All being said, yes, I would go back for the wine carbonara!

The service that we received from the waitress and the young lady that she was training was wonderful. They deserve five stars. They were very attentive and very sweet. Unfortunately, the service at the bar was very poor. We were ignored by several people, most importantly the bartender and older gentleman. We asked to taste beer before we bought it. He didn't seem too willing to let us try it. Then, when we told him what we wanted to order, he walked over to the party next to us instead and took care of them, very cordially, I might add. The check with the tip was $115.00. We had dinner and drinks but unfortunately we will not return.

Love this place! The pizza is probably the best in Raleigh! All the pasta dishes have been amazing as well. The service is great (we almost always sit at the bar, but the dining room is also great) too! This restaurant is underrated in my opinion as it is one of my favorites and we are willing to drive a distance to go there.

Charming little Italian place. Nice service staff. Good food.
