Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Raleigh

Good quality meats, all prepared nicely. Service seems a little distant, but man, can they deliver service and they know their business. Four choices of sauce, you have to put it on your self. Suggest the brisket salad with dickey's original sauce. Eat at table out on the street on a Sunday afternoon for a nice picnic style lunch/dinner.

Food was pretty good. I got the pulled pork plate and was pleased. Service was a little slow and the ice cream machine was broken (the free ice cream is a major selling point for dickeys). Still good, just not the best dickey's location I've been to

Ordered delivery through order up so I can't speak to the dining experience but the food was really good! The ribs were amazing! Sauces, hushpuppies and fried okra were all as good as I've had from a restaurant. Did not disappoint!

I previously wrote a post here about the preparation and service, but since it seems to have improved considerably. I 've dropped in a few times since and each time the food has been great, hot and ample. People have addressed me loud enough for me to hear and pointed out things I 'd otherwise miss, like that 'hushpuppies come with this anyway and that I might want another side instead of extra hushpuppies. ' I look forward to my next visit.

Ate here after watching a movie at the imax. This is the best bbq I have had so far. Staff is very friendly and the restaurant was clean. I dig the wood paneling, it gives the restaurant an old road side dinner.
