Chubby's Tacos Raleigh

This place has great tacos, especially the baja shrimp. The salsa bar has a variety of choices, even for those looking for something more spicy. Even when it's a little busier, they serve relatively quickly. I'm only knocking down a star, because on separate occasions with different employees, I just wouldn't describe any of the employees I interacted with as friendly or outgoing, even compared to fast food places like McDonald's or Starbucks. One employee was a little impatient with me when ordering the first time I went, but the food and reasonable prices make it a great stop along the way to the PNC Arena.

Love this place I can eat here all day. All my friends love it here and the bar is finally opening up completely next week no need to go to the register at the front to order! Will be back

Food was good, the staff seemed very depressed and lethargic. A bit more chaotic then it should be to order tacos. Overall this is a good local taco spot. Cost-wise you won’t be saving any money by coming here for faster food than you would be by going to an authentic taco place.

We stopped in this charming Taco spot not long ago and ended up finding a gem!! Absolutely love the authentic vibe when you walk in, easy to order, great interaction with the staff (very friendly) and of course the salsa options was one of my favorite parts!! They truly have a flavor for any pallet, but I was in love with their Carnitas.

Given 2-stars because the customer service was good. I cannot believe how overpriced their food is. 4 tacos should not cost 20 dollars. I came one time before and seen why I never came back. Was not flavorful at all. And the meat was dry as ever. Tried their tacos and they're just tacos. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone because there are better taco spots in the area.
