Bettina and Matthias (new owners in the last few years, I think) offer friendly hospitality, seasoned with a very artistic eye. The Inn is over 200 years old, with comfortable rooms (no two quite similar), but with solid amenities. The ONLY complaint is that the restaurant is only open for dinner, and then six nights a week (closed Wednesdays). The cook does a great job and offers a small but solid German regular menu, along with a seasonal set of specials that seem to change about once a month. These are always great and usually quite creative. Prices are reasonable and the service is always friendly and unrequired. Several friends booked in the eagle for shorter stays while we were there, and they all had wonderful experiences.
This place is an attractive combination of modern creative trend and traditional revenue. We ate soup, salad and fish, drunken white wine and beer in a friendly atmosphere. You'll like to go back there.
A limited menu, but very well made. We can also recommend the village schnapps. A must if you're in the area.
We decided on the return trip for a spontaneous visit. eating in the lasy pre-garden was pleasant and very good. we chose the entrecôte, which comes from meat from local producers. as a supplement we recommend the garden fresh vegetables.
I can only recommend that we have eaten wild and that was just great. then the cozy ambiente, and a courteous waiter, what you want to make more for a beautiful day even more beautiful.Thank you ;)
