SUSHI-BAR Tatsumi Osamu Yamashita

We have lived in Japan for 30 years before we came to Sushi Bar Tatsumi Osamu Yamashita a few years ago. It is precisely to put it overrated! In the USA the customer is considered king. In Japan, the customer is God. In this sushi bar, the customer is a stimulus. The service was terrible. There were few chefs behind the counter and too many people who were packed into the restaurant so that the food lasted too long to arrive. The food itself was overrated. They were actually stingy with the Wasabi and ginger. The atmosphere itself was of a blunt nature. Prices are not what you could call reasonable. In Japan this place would be faster than a COVID 19 quick test. Of course, maybe we were there a night, so check it yourself, but I think there are better choices in constanz than this sushi bar.

Very delicious, freshly made sushi! The best is to take the large plate for 2 or 3 persons with different types of Sushi Nice service. The only minus is very narrow and small... always has to reserve...

A lot of restaurants in Konstanz do not provdie anything special. there are only a few exceptions. Tastumi is outstanding in the range of restaurants in Konstanz. It might not be the fanciest one. But, given the fact that a lot of sushi places in Japan are also from the same design it is authentic to me. The food is great. It is one of my favourites around the lake. It is definately wide above the avarage when comepared to other gastro places in Konstanz. You will have a wonderful evening there if you love Japanese food.

The service is very friendly and you feel like in beetween family. The sushi menu for lunch is awesome, the amount, the price and the quality is just really good. The only thing I could mention to improove is that the service or waiters with long hair should not wear their hair loosely... However, I really love this place.

This is the place my bf and I often drive specially from Zurich to just have our Sushi cravings satisfied. When you see Japanese chefs preparing the sushis and only Asian chefs in the kitchen, you know you are in safe hands! Their sushi platters are huge and so tantalising we often can't make up our mind what to order. Reservations should be made in advanced as they are often packed.
