Fabiolita - Quito

Super fast service even when the restaurant was packed. It’s a great spot to sit and enjoy people watching on the busy square. I really enjoyed my simple Sándwich de Pernil; super tasty! The Mote with crispy pork was some of the best I’ve had on my journey!

Great service, great food, and great beer! While the cafes on Plaza Grande look the same from the outside, Fabiolita really stands out once you try it. The Sanduce de Pernil is fantastic, along with the roasted pork lunch. They brew their own beer, which is some of the best I've had in Ecuador (and I tried a lot! . In addition, the service was super friendly and even gave some great recommendations for other parts of town. We can't wait to come back!

We stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to stop in for a drink. We ended up having their delicious craft beer that they make in house and a sandwich. Everything was delicious and they made us feel right at home. The view from the cafe tables is amazing and great people watching. One of the owners came out to talk with us and explained that his family has owned it since 1965. Definitely don’t miss this spot when visiting the old town!

Fabiolita is a great restaurant to try traditional Ecuatorian food in la Plaza Grande. The owner, Fabiolita’s grandson, is an excellent host and will make you feel very looked after throughout your stay. The food is great and at a very reasonable price. They serve their own beer and it is excellent must try. I would really recommend!

While Quito is full of great food, the fact that Fabiolita have been in the same location for 3 generations (since 1965) is a testament to the quality and service. They even craft their own beer! When in Quito, you must stop by.
