El Vegetariano - Quito

The suppe had pieces of crushed chicken and small bones, apart from the distinctive taste. the dame said that the spoon mixed with the other pot, but was completely vegetarian. it's not nice to be lied to. in addition, the lunch was average, rice and lenses, 1 beetroot croquette, cut tomatoes, the inedible (white and creamy) desserts a burned cake. I do not recommend it at all, their restaurant is not vegetarian, the menu is only meat and if they ask for lunch, they improvise something.

Probably, the cheapest option you can find in Quito. Lunch for 2.75. The taste was pretty good. The place itself looked dirty. No other option was available, only lunch.

First of all this is a buffet, they offer a lot of vegan options and every sauce is vegan. They are really aware of which options are or not vegan. Also the staff is really nice and helpful. The food is tasty and super cheap, got full with $4 dollars..

El Vegetariano was hopping when i arrived around 12:30 for lunch. Food was great and on this day the lunch special was all vegan, so i got to try a variety of local flavors and everything was good. Table sharing is the norm during the busy hours, which for me was a plus, as i got to meet a friendly local. Enjoy!
