Octopus Bay - Quisqueya

Excellent service and very delicious Mahi-mahi with shrimp risotto.

The place is ok nothing special and a bit pricey , paid parking only.

How does this place get 4 plus stars?? Lost my faith in google reviews. Super friendly staff, but that’s where it ends. Our ceviche took an hour to come out (even tho only two other tables on the go) and was clearly previously frozen shrimp. Had mahi mahi for main, which was massively underwhelming. Could go into more detail, but honestly doing this review so others don’t fall into the same trap as us. Stay away! To the restaurant management…if you’re going to sell such poor food, at least give the customers toilet seats in the washrooms!

Poor service, food was not cooked well. After food was served, I had to chase the server down to bring us salt and pepper. We were the only customers at that time! Pasta bolognese the girlfriend ordered had a weird taste and my pescado dorado was overcooked and chewy. Then they charged tax on the bill (it should have been on the menu that they charge tax on top of the price) and 10% automatic tips. I would have no problem paying all this if the service and food is good. Very disappointed i will never return.
