Zaitun Halal - Queens

The portions at this restaurant are very generous. I ordered the half chicken platter and was impressed by the size of the chicken itself. The meal also came with 2 sides, 2 sauces of your choice, and bread cut into pieces. The sides were also a good size. All of this for only $12.50. The portion size is large enough to comfortably share between 2-3 people.

The food was delicious, but the wrap was very small.

I was disappointed to find that the bread was included in my meal without being mentioned on the menu. As someone with a gluten allergy, this was a waste of money for me as I could not eat it. Additionally, the chicken was under seasoned and the salad was underwhelming.

Just chicken and romaine lettuce; it's pretty good but the quality and size doesn't go with the price.

So i saw this place on ubereats decided to try it .. based on the reviews and pictures i decided to try the mango habanero charred grilled wings, a chicken sombusa, vegetable sombusa and a lemonade iced tea and i would rate my overall meal a 9/10 .. wings are great, spicy love that and the sombusa’s were nice and crispy, cooked through .. lemonade had a different taste but it was good.. the only reason they didn’t received a 10 is because the lemonade could’ve been bigger, i didn’t receive the white dipping sauce for the sombusa and the skin of the wings could’ve been crispier, also there should be an option for a side of fries or fries should be included when ordered wings..
