Eating arrived on time, all hot and amazingly stinking. People were fascinated with the taste! As for me, Best Pasteles and Tembleque ever!! Very recommended Freakin Rican <3
The food was amazing! The staff was very friendly. They made us feel very comfortable. Definitely recommend this place! Best Spanish cuisine I had in a really long time.
Visited the restaurant today with my wife and the food is amazing. She's a big fan of your derrick, she's watching your hose channel. I had the Bistec encebollado with Aroz con gandules and salad. She had with Aroz con gandules and salad pernil. We also order the Alcapurrias and they were bangin. We usually eat them from Yuca, but they were amazing. Victor was great with us. His hospitality was amazing. I felt like we were visiting family. I'm from Ecuador, my wife is PR. It felt like home. Good luck with the restaurant. We'll be back soon.
Excellent food, friendly staff, great mood. We were there a few times and we're never disappointed. It has become our place.
I had been anticipating this restaurant opening for months. Finally got the opportunity to go. The experience was like going to an old friends house in Puerto Rico. First of all the decor is welcoming and the seating area is very small but cozy! The music playing was mellow salsa music and not too loud at all! I had the roast pork (penil), with Puerto Rican rice (arroz con gandules), with salad and of course I had to try the pasteles (ground plantains with meat). My husband had the fried pork chops with white rice and pink beans and salad. And as an appetizer we had bacalaoitos (cod fish fritters). DEEELICIOOOUS! Everything was So fresh and well seasoned! From where I was seated I could see the massive kitchen and the freakin Rican himself running around cooking. After we were served he came out and greeted us and we fell into a conversation as if we'd known him forever! So humble and gracious! He went on to greet the other patrons as well. After about 10 minutes of mingling with the patrons he excused himself and went back in the kitchen to cook. The staff was fantastic and the little details in the restaurant decor was greatly appreciated as it reminded me of things I'd find in my Aunts home back on the island. The portions were decent and the prices were too. We were so impressed we purchased the freakin Rican hat, sofrito and adobo to take home. And also some home made besitos de coco (coconut macaroons). We will definitely be back!
