EL GRAN CANARIO II - Queens

I used the Too Good To Go app and took my $6 meal at 10:00. When I saw what was given to me, I was shocked. I had two plates and a can of soda. The lady worked so nice. She asked me if I like pigs. Yes I love pernil lol. She even apologized to say it was dry what it was a little, but I knew it because it was late at night. She added extra sauce from the beans to compensate for it. Your food is good and its great quanity quality for the price. Unfortunately, because of the language barrier, I was robbed because I asked for a family meal. In addition, I asked the family meal for a large container of beans, a small container of stew chicken and because I asked that they said it wasn't the family complex and charged everything separately. I was ready to pay the price difference, but what they did this time, I couldn't hand it over. I saw how they cut the chicken and put all my stuff together when I went home. I had to ask for it. You said once again, I didn't get the family meal so they didn't put the chicken in the pocket. All this because I have an additional large side of beans and stew chicken. Of all the hins and hers, although I already paid them $60 I had to pay an additional $20 for the chcikens, because the lady continued insisting that I wasn't the family meal. I didn't pay for the chicken I had expected my family, so I told them that I only the chicken they said I had to pay for what I already did. Order it first, pay for it and then in another order for what you want supplement.

Excellent service. The food is super delicious and the drinks are on the point. The staff is friendly and attentive. Great place for diving, drinking and going out.

My family used to order from this restaurant often due to its convenient location, despite the declining service and quality. Our final disappointment came last night when our order arrived with virtually no beans - just liquid and a mere six beans at the bottom. This left us with what was essentially bean soup. The tostones were also soggy from being poorly fried, and my husband had to reheat his cold chicken when it was delivered.
