Baskin-robbins - Queens

We stopped in for a quick evening snack after dinner. We each got a scoop of ice cream, but what’s interesting is that the ice cream was very soft as if the freezer where the ice cream is isn’t working. This was our first time at this location, so I’m not sure what their norm is here. Yet, when visiting other Baskin Robbins locations, we haven’t gotten ice cream that was like soft serve ice cream. The staff were nice. It’s conveniently located in Bayside near two hotels.

Caramel is the best one for me! I love 3 scoops with caramel on the top and some nuts .yummy

I have always had mixed experiences at this particular location. The milkshake and hot chocolate are consistently watery. However, during my recent visit, I began to question if something more deceitful was afoot. I ordered a kids scoop for my son, which was listed on the menu for $3.49. When the worker went to retrieve the cup, they claimed that they no longer offered kids scoop sizes at this location, contrary to what was displayed on the menu. I inquired if this policy was implemented nationwide by Baskin-Robbins, but was told it was a decision made solely by the owner of this particular store. I ultimately gave in and paid $4.49 for a single scoop, feeling uncertain about the true motives behind the situation. Was it a deliberate attempt to overcharge me, a simple case of cup shortage with a made-up excuse, or a legitimate choice by the owner to discontinue kids scoop sizes? The whole ordeal left me feeling uneasy about the integrity of this establishment.

I custom ordered a cake online and it turned out amazing for my daughter!
