Manoir Montmorency - Québec

Après la tyrolienne, il fait bon manger. Leur fish and chips est moelleux, leur salade de légumes grillés fondante et leur hamburger maison. Les serveuses sympathiques et une vue imprenable. Nous avons passé un bon moment

Le Manoir Montmorency is in Parc de la Chute-Montmorency (Montmorency Falls Park) next to the carpark and a short walk from the falls and the bus stop. It is in a lovely setting, ideal for a lazy lunch on a summer's day. The menu offered a reasonable selection for lunch. My partner had soup of the day and a salad, while I chose the soup and fish and chips, and we shared a demi-litre of house wine. The food was totally satisfactory without pretending to be fine dining. It's the location and atmosphere that make eating here so enjoyable. The park and the restaurant were crowded the day we visited and there was a short wait for a table. The service was friendly and prompt. The best views are near the railing on the terrace and we were lucky enough to find a table by the railing. The Manoir also houses a shop and a museum/interpretative centre with interesting displays about the history of the place and the industries that once thrived by the falls.

Terrasse accueillante et ambiance familiale. Service ordinaire, on dirait qu'il manquait de serveurs, jamais on ne passait nous servir d'eau ou nous demander si le repas était à notre goût ou demander s'il manquait quelque chose. Longue attente pour recevoir la facture. Les salles de bains du manoir sont ouvertes à TOUS les touristes et il n'y a pas de salle de bain réservées pour les clients du manoir seulement ce qui est déplorable car ce serait pourtant la moindre des choses dans un endroit comme ça. Prix plutôt dispendieux pour des repas relativement simples. Partie déçue et sans l'intention d'y revenir.

This is a beautiful setting, however, if you are not seated near the railing, you won't have a view of the falls, so it's probably not worth your time. The menu is not extensive, but has a variety of items. A kids' menu is available. Our server was friendly, but she was also very busy. Thus, service is a tad slow - so if you are wanting to spend time hiking around the falls or if you are trying to keep to a schedule of shuttle buses to/from Old Quebec, you probably should avoid eating here, or plan to stay an extra hour. We ended up leaving cash on the table so that we could get down the tram and catch a shuttle. Otherwise, if you're not on a schedule, go ahead and sit back, relax and eat. The mac & cheese without the pulled pork was delicious! The green salad had a light lemony vinaigrette dressing and was also delicious.

Restaurant avec terrasse, très beau cadre, où nous n'avons pas attendu pour avoir une table. Nous y avons très bien mangé mon mari avait pris un tatare de saumon, une salade composée pour moi, des pates et un hamburger pour mes fils donc pour tout les goûts.Le service était excellent et le monsieur qui s'occupait de notre table très prévenant.facture correct.
