You must order the scallops. End of review. Ha! Also: Loved the Smoked Salmon appetizer: square chunks of salmon were delicious. Cream of asparagus (cold) soup was also amazing. Another main dish worth getting besides the scallops is the duck (also pictured). For wines, I like to try local wines and they have a Quebec white wine by the glass that is brisk, crisp, dry, refreshing. Dining room feels a lot like Paris (in a good way). Service is decent, but with a very young staff.
Very good food, the best scallop dish we have had in a long time, perfectly cooked, looked good too with nice caramelisation to the scallops, good number too. Wine by the glass was good. Good value too for a tourist area. Outside tables, may have to request if booking.
After reading many reviews, we decided to dine here and were disappointed. The outdoor area was not open when we dined, and the tables indoors were so close together we could hear conversations on both sides of us. I opted for the 3-course tasting menu and my husband opted for the halibut main course. My selections for the tasting menu consisted of salmon tartar which was good, but not great; warm goat cheese over brioche which had way too much goat cheese filling; and the marinated escolar which was drowned in soy sauce--so much that you could not appreciate the other flavors. Service was very good and the server answered our questions. But sadly, we would not return.
We had dinner and it was very tasty! The Guinea Fowl was flavorful and a true delight. The crème brûlée was undercooked, and they immediately gave me a good one. Service was terrific.
