The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is well-maintained. Unfortunately, in the winter, guests may miss out on the outer beauty of the building as most of the statues, well, and even the garden are covered with snow.
The restaurant has a very beautiful exterior and interior. During the summer, it is adorned with colorful flowers. They offer free guided tours in both French and English, which typically last about an hour. I highly recommend taking advantage of this opportunity.
The location of the restaurant is beautiful, but the vegetarian pasta dish was not very impressive. The other menu options looked much more appealing.
Indulge in a dining experience fit for royalty at this hidden gem! The elegant ambience and top-notch service truly made me feel like a VIP. The food was undeniably the best in Quebec, with the duck confit standing out alongside the vibrant and flavorful vegetables grown on site. Each main dish also comes with a starter, and I opted for the octopus with a small surcharge, which was tender and perfectly seasoned. Paired with a glass of Bourgogne, it was a delightful combination. This restaurant has definitely stepped up its game since renovations in 2019, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience at a reasonable price, comparable to other restaurants in old Quebec.
It's quite challenging to locate the correct entrance after hours. The hall is stunning. The food was mediocre, with the veal being overcooked.
