KFC - QUEANBEYAN EAST

Needing a take away meal and not having had KFC for years after two very inedible meals from KFC shops in Melbourne we tried this KFC store. Although I have rated it as average(not a fast food fan) this is a good mark and was the best KFC I have eaten for a very long time. If you enjoy KFC the portion sizes were a good size juicy and tasty.

First time visitors of Queanbeyan looking for a quick feed before heading home towards Melbourne we used our car's GPS and local maps to find this restaurant and after some tricky driving found it at the rear of a McDonalds - well hidden from the main road by mature trees. That was frustrating.A good plus was plenty of parking out the back and it ended there.The food was very average and sadly repeated on us all the way to Albury.. I remember saying to my husband when we ordered that I hoped the poor cleanliness / standard of the restaurant was not a reflection of the food.. The toilets were disgusting and looked as if they had not been cleaned in days with dirt splashed over mirrors / walls / floors / full bins and just terribly grotty.The tables and floors in the restaurant area were just as filthy - the staff did not walk the floor at all and when they did come out they ignored the disgraceful state of the tables / floors and sat doing nothing. The Manager appeared to do an audit of the cold drinks whilst we were ordering but did not take any notice of what was happening around him and in his restaurant. It really appeared that there was no standard / leader standard work whatsoever in managing / maintaining this restaurant.In the time we were there not one other person came in to eat - everyone was drive through or takeaway. We know now why.I hate writing poor reviews but this one really got to me - I hope this restaurant improves - for their own sake.

Non-American KFC's are usually pretty bad. This place is epically bad. Ultra-greasy chicken, dirty dining room, lackluster service, possibly the worst mashed potatoes in the history of mashed potatoes. This location should be prosecuted in The Hague.

The few times I have eaten at this KFC I have had to wait over 15 mins for my meal, have had to change my order as the store had run out of the item I

I ordered hot wings from KFC Gungahlin last month and was quite sick I ordered food there again a few weeks later and was sick again.
