Gary's Bistro - Qualicum Beach

We recently ordered three meals consisting of one piece of cod and chips, along with an order of chicken strips and chips, and the total came to over $76.00. When we opened the food, we were disappointed. Thank you, Gary’s, but I regret to say that our relationship will end here. I hope other customers are wise enough to avoid having the same experience we did. By the way, this was the second time in a month that we had a similar experience.

Take a seat by the fireplace and treat yourself to the amazing chowder—they prepare it right in-house, and it's packed with vegetables and clams. I would recommend skipping the poutine; it wasn’t impressive. However, the highlight of this restaurant is definitely the staff, who are some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. Really, just the best!

I ordered a basic burger, my brother got the mushroom burger, and my sister-in-law had a huge BLT. The fries were hot and crispy, and the side salad was enormous and fresh. The burgers were exceptional—delicious!

We had lunch at this lovely restaurant and enjoyed our time on the terrace. The atmosphere is cozy, and the food is absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful, making our experience even better.

We stumbled upon this gem and decided to grab a bite to eat. I ordered the chicken soup, and it was excellent—hands down the best I've ever had! It was packed with meat, and the noodles tasted homemade. My partner had the blueberry muffin, and he claimed it was the best he's ever tasted. It's a shame we live in Langley because otherwise, this would be our go-to spot for lunch every day! The decor is also quite quirky, featuring a large plastic bottle from Corregal that reminded me of a small fishing village in Mexico. I absolutely loved that touch!
