Casa Almendro - Puntarenas

Food is really good. We ordered : 1. Lomito a la parrilla (sauce is very delicious) 2. Spaghetti de camaron 3. Casado de pescado 4. Ceviche mixto They are all delicious! Just ceviche portion is a bit small

We had a nice time in Casa Almendro, they are so nice and the service is fast. The location is beautifull, you can choose from tables in one of the 2 terrazas or inside the place, but being that close to the beach is nice to be outside in the front terraza to enjoy the wind from the ocean. The food is good and they have a lot of options, from some cheap ones if you are on a budget to a 20$ whole fish. All of them delicius.

This is an excelent place to visit and have a great lunch infront of the beach. The prices are accessible. You must try the octopus and ceviche with a beer (Pilsen). The building has around 100 years, so you feel you are in a cozy hut, (like visiting your grandma).

REALLY good food, I don't know what they do with their beans, the paste tastes AMAZING. Best beans I've eaten in my y weeks of Costa Rica. Really good combo with the plantains and carne, salad and ceviche was great too!

Delicious Arroz con pollo! The service was great, and very pleasant atmosphere.
