Wood Street Grill - Punta Gorda

This restaurant is a hidden gem in a beach town. The food is outstanding with a wide variety of options. Prices are very reasonable. There are only a few seating options, but the bathrooms are well-maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they handle a significant amount of takeout orders. As for parking, there’s plenty available right in front.

What a hidden gem on the north side of Punta Gorda! The food here is freshly prepared, and they even brine their own corned beef. The Reuben sandwich was fantastic, loaded with plenty of meat. I ordered a large chopped salad topped with house-grilled chicken and real bacon, with an abundance of avocado. The staff was incredibly friendly, and it's a great spot for lunch.

It's a cozy little spot with limited seating. While the seating is sparse, the delicious food more than makes up for it, and the owners are incredibly friendly.

I just went there after years of not going I know it under new owners. so I ordered the pesto pizza with chicken and baconthat was very bland, no taste. Need to add seasoning to chicken or seasoning to anything to taste great. Loved it before I know it's possible.
